The files are arranged in alphabetical order. This collection includes both paper and digital records.

The collection is divided into three series: Corporation Files, Subject Files, and Digital Records

Corporation Files, 1995-2004

This series consists of documents related to the Corporation for National and Community Service, including materials over AmeriCorps, Learn and Serve America, and Senior Corps. Correspondence, meeting agendas, handwritten notes over meetings with the CEO, and strategic planning notes about the Corporation are also present.

Subject Files, 1991-2009

This series consists of publications from related nonprofit organizations, foundations, and associations that appear within the collection. Some organizations include America's Promise Alliance, City Year, Girls Scouts, Indiana Commission on Community Service and Volunteerism, Points of Light Foundation, and YouthBuild.

Digital Records, 1991-2009

This series consists of the digital files from Reingold's collection. These records include word documents, powerpoint presentations, excel sheets, and emails from the Corporation for National and Community Service, the Indiana Commission on Community Service and Volunteerism, and Indiana University Bloomington. The largest portion of the Corporation for National and Community Service subseries focuses on AmeriCorps and Senior Corps, as well as various surveys that were either carried out by the Corporation or prepared by an outside institution for the Corporation. The files over the Indiana Commission on Community Service and Volunteerism, now Serve Indiana, are related to AmeriCorps sponsored programing across the State of Indiana. Processed born-digital materials were transferred off the physical media to preservation servers, sensitive material was removed, and the records were reordered. The physical media is not available to researchers.
