The collection contains 14 scrapbooks, ranging from 1941-1982. Newspaper clippings represent the bulk of the collection, but the scrapbooks also occasionally include letters, postcards, and photographs.

The Boone County Chapter of the American Red Cross was incorporated into the Indiana Red Cross in 1986.

The Boone County Red Cross Scrapbooks contain newspaper clippings, letters, postcards, and photographs related to the work of the Boone County chapter of the Red Cross.
These scrapbooks were rescued from a dumpster outside of the Boone County Red Cross location by a Lebanon Public Library employee. The scrapbooks were held there until the transfer to the IUPUI Philanthropic Studies Archives in 2016.
Immediate Source of Acquisition
The scrapbooks were acquired from the Lebanon Public Library in February 2016.
